New router / headless wired computer

I've got a headless desktop that runs xp connected to my home network. I use it for storage, downloading, and as a make-shift USB print server.

Well, I got a new router and I have no idea what the IP address for my headless tower is. Can anyone think of a good way to figure this out? I don't have a keyboard to connect to it. I do have a mouse and a display I could hook up to it (but i was hoping there would be an easier way ... we're moving and a bunch of stuff is packed up.)

It's a netgear router, if that helps. My laptop's IP is 192.168.1.3 and my wife's is 192.168.1.2. So far I've tried ...1 and ...4 but it hasn't worked.

Thanks.

Assuming that your router is handing IP addresses out via DHCP, you could log into the router and see if it will give you a list of "clients".

ya...i was digging around in my router's site but i can't seem to find it. i could get to it easily with my old d-link, but i can't find it with my new netgear...hmm. may have to do some googling on that idea.

    thanks.

edit: GOT IT!! thanks. i found the page on the router site.
