New router / headless wired computer
I've got a headless desktop that runs xp connected to my home network. I use it for storage, downloading, and as a make-shift USB print server.
Well, I got a new router and I have no idea what the IP address for my headless tower is. Can anyone think of a good way to figure this out? I don't have a keyboard to connect to it. I do have a mouse and a display I could hook up to it (but i was hoping there would be an easier way ... we're moving and a bunch of stuff is packed up.)
It's a netgear router, if that helps. My laptop's IP is 192.168.1.3 and my wife's is 192.168.1.2. So far I've tried ...1 and ...4 but it hasn't worked.
Thanks.
