the polycarbonat case of the ibooks was the toughest i saw.

it takes a extreme amount of force to break it.

the aluminium case takes allmost as much - but dents pretty easy.

    but lets face it.

they are computers for gods sake! don't drop them!

Pick up a speck case for it for some protection and color.

Hi, that's my first post in this forum!

I've been made curious because of the title of the thread: "Plastic Fantastic"!

Are you a sailor or just an America's Cup fan???

apart this... unfortunately I'm not a Mac user, but i'm planning to buy a new one...I'm just waiting for the right moment to switch; I'm finishing my final degree work on windooze, so I'm a little scared about the switch, well, actually, not scared, in fact I'm so impatient and excited to switch to Mac, but I still need few little apps made only for windooze, just up to the end of the work (paralles or bootcamp? no, thanks, I don't want to install any M$ shit on my future Mac!)

so.. i'm planning to buy a MB or MBP... i like very much alluminium style on MBP, but, actually, i LOVE white MacBooks, they are so lovely... and I don't really want that the white plastic style would be replaced with a different one... just an opinion

    bye

PS: sorry for my not properly good english ;-)

Actually, this already exists on the MBP. It's called an ExpressCard slot...'
