He may be CEO, but IT hates it when people use non-approved hardware/software. Everyone at my company is issued a T-Series ThinkPad running XP SP1. No changes, period.
But to his credit, the ThinkPads are probably the mst reliable, solid laptops on the market. If I were getting a PC laptop, it'd be a ThinkPad.
Yep. I love my MBP, but if I am in a corporate environment I want people to use PC's, and they are probably going to be Thinkpads.
"My wife and I both have iPhones. My wife came in with a jacket for her phone. She was all excited," he said. "It's a flimsy little thing. It cost $39. It probably cost 6¢ to make."
I wonder if would really be a problem. One really can't download much or use it tethered for internet service to a computer anyway.
The iPhone would download far less data than a computer. Still, it loads up whole webpages which can often contain a bit of data...
I'd just like to see them stop saying "unlimited" when it's not. And I figure lets not single Rogers out as if they're the only one! (and no I'm not canadian or an employee of Rogers
Chill out -- in the same page they value the iPod Classic 80gb to 700$
"Contest price means what they say the value is when you 'buy' something with your $3500 'contest dollars'.... It's a little out of whack. What's interesting is that they say the prize will be available when the product hits the Canadian market in January 2008... That's a pretty strong statement from a company like Molson (c'est pas des tous-nus!)

Also BootCamp is still beta so few enterprise customers will even consider using it yet.
I really want an iPhone, but Rogers is the one carrier I would never use, they are by far the worst in the country for both billing and coverage. There are vast areas of the country that can't even get Rogers service.
