Okay so seriously ... I've dropped my SonyE v600i and also iPod Shuffle 1st gen silver like about 20 times now. Both have a few nicks here and there but functioning well so far.

Whoa, way to go all philosphical on our asses. In a similar vein, I "dropped" all my respect for a friend I caught up with yesterday.

well, unless there's some special edition, the first shuffle was white, looks almost exactly like the remote you get with the computers these days. the 2nd gen was the one with silver.

At my place of work I once walked by a group of people while carrying a brand new DVD player. I had allowed the AC cord to dangle, and as I took a step the cord hooked on something, and my momentum propelled me forward with enough force that the snagged cord actually jerked the entire inner workings of the player straight out of the case and onto the floor, like a gutted fish.

I said "huh", hoisted the innards up by the tail of the cord, and kept walking.

Too much drop here. You have got hungry wolves running behind you?

I cannot even remember the last time when I dropped something. Even for insignificant things, let alone electronic devices. Guess I am already excluded from the game.

It's not that complex. Baby came out and I put camera on floor. When I was with the baby at the warming table mom delivered the placenta and there was some splash down to the floor.
