I chose MacBook Ultra because it sounds professional, which is where it will be placed. Not only will it be expensive, but will also look like the MacBook Pro. Even though Steve says Apple is not going after the enterprise market he knows the Mac is making headway into the corporate world and wants a name that fits.
My reasons for not choosing the rest are:
MacBook thin and light - these sound bland, plain and simple.
Mac Minibook - this throws off the naming convention and "Min" is the only thing stopping it from being a Mac iBook.
MacBook mini and nano - these names do not work because the computer will take up the same surface area as the MacBook. Thinner and lighter, yes, but not smaller.
MacBook touch - If the trackpad is going to get multi-touch capabilities and the MacBook Pro models do not, or the screen is detachable (rumor has it) and it gets multi-touch capabilities then I can see touch being used.

Ultra anything sounds like straight from Transformers. Ultra Mac? Ultra Book? Mac Ultra? With the first couple iterations of these names I picture a couple of building-sized robots, and with every subsequent one I picture them shouting it as a battle shout while slugging each other. "By Macbook Ultra!"
It will cost more than the MacBook, due to its light weight and thin design. Those things cost money, and similar products are more expensive than their bulkier counterparts.
So I do not think they can call it anything that implies it is a "little brother" - no nano, no mini, no lite.
The Mac mini and the iPod nano were smaller but cheaper than their larger siblings.
People see terms like mini, nano, lite, etc. - they expect to see a lower price.
It will have to have a name that implies that it has extra features (thin and light) rather than fewer features, to make the higher price make sense.
Ultra might work, or some word that implies ultra-portable in the sense of being something that you would pay more money to get.

Here I am providing some names for what the ultra-portable Mac notebook might be called. I thought of one recently that no one seemed to be using, and I personally am going for that;
Mac Minibook

Nah "none of the above" is far too hard to say.

I was thinking that their ultra-portable WILL be their tablet...

So was I, but this thread is reserved for the notebook. I think it's a little too soon for the Mac touch maybe.
Slogan: "Portable ? ? ?"
Macbook Nano makes more sense in terms of product branding, and linking it to an already successful product line, the iPod Nano.
I could see a change from Mac Mini to Mac Nano, and Macbook Nano, Macbook and Macbook Pro now all being part of the same product line.
...
First off I initially was tempted to agree you, but than I reconsidered.
I don't think Apple rebrands Mac mini into Mac nano any time soon,
because the Mac mini is not that small that the term nano is justified.
It's small but not "nano".
Though the term mini actually leaves a lot of room for another Mac variant that
is smaller than the mini. And this will be the anticipated "Mac nano".
I think these terms (mini, nano etc.) determines product groups.
By that logic I actually see a Macbook mini rather than a Macbook nano
in the first place. The lineup is ->Macbook (Pro) -> Macbook mini (in a week)->
Macbook nano (half year later). Maybe they add the term classic to the original
Macbook.
Here you go:
Macbook classic
Macbook Pro
Macbook mini
Macbook nano
best
the mac finger mark with curly fries.
"the thinest mac ever" the Mac saran wrap - or Mac clingfilm for the UK.
the mac capsule as Sony/M$ have already trademarked Mac tablet
The Mac wheelbarrow "take it into the garden"
the Mac "MEH!" as its underpowered and only runs vista.
The Mac minor, "it's just for kids"

MacBook Executive.

...
MacBook Executive.
I find MacBook Executive sounds awkward. The term Executive
hints toward something very big, rather than something neat and classy.
For example, people I know do refer to the 17" Macbook Pro as the "Executive".
Imho.
If Apple wants to add just a very small Notebook to their current Notebook offerings,
than they probably choose something between "nano" and "mini" in order
to connect the new product to the existing lineup.
If they intend to create a whole new family of mobile computers,
than they probably drop the "Macbook" moniker. Maybe "Subbook".
Maybe after all Minibook?

I take it you are too young to remember Ultraman?
