That sounds more like the 12 inch cube that MOSR was talking about way back when than the 8 inch cube that eventually appeared. Maybe Apple could release it in a black magnesium alloy case?

The Cube is not dead. But I think it is highly unlikely that Apple would do this year such a move and bring it back (with the necessary aesthetic touches). I believe that Apple will wait the mobile quads before proposing a quad iMac to fill the gap.
