I am sorry about a new thread, but the MBP threads are so long and so many pages, shouldn't we start over and sort out the speculation from facts? Maybe someone has some facts. Please. Oh and moderator, sorry if I broke any rules. I understand if you delete me.

    How do you like that?

Lets face it we don't know and may never know what the hold up is. Better to sit back and wait for Apple to get it right then to put pressure on them to deliver an unfinished product.

well, about 70% of people I have spoken to reckon Today, Tuesday Feb 12th. Around 8.30am US time and about 1.30PM UK time. I am not so sure now though. But I am also waiting to get a MBP, just not pinning all my hopes on today! Other speculated dates are next Tuesday and March 16th/17th.

Well, the US Store is down, but I doubt it is for the MBP. As a rule, the european and eastern ones go down first before such updates. When it starts in the US, it is usually something US-specific. Anyway, we will soon see.

Probably I was not clear enough. I am not saying that the european stores would not eventually go down. I am saying that if it is computer hardware, then the european stores go down first and then the US one. For US-specific updates and software the US goes down first. This is not written in stone somewhere, but this is how it works for years now.
