You are absolutely impossible. I've been agreeing with you the entire damn time and you just can't handle it!
I'm not disagreeing with you over the memory, the size of the OS, etc.
I'm disagreeing with this statement you made about ME:
Quote:
If you would have read the post I was replying to you would have seen that poster was arguing the OS was only 160GB because that was the size of the download. hen he hypothesized the difference from 700MiB was because of base changes.
So frakking read what you are posting about before going of and trying to start another doomed flamewar,

So damn true to form. Still trying to stir things up, only quote parts of posts and then act all innocent-like. Go back and reread things again. Here, I'll make it easy to follow:
Solipsism did some really bad math and was saying your 700MiB OS could only be because you must be attributing sizes due to base conversions [post 13]. I destroyed that misconception showing what the math actually was [post 53]. Then you blunder back in [post 85] stating you have no idea what the math has to do with a 700MiB OS. Then I explained to you in the second paragraph of [post 85] EXACTLY what was going on. Should that still not make sense here it is slightly differently: It wasn't the math that made for a 700MiB OS, the math showed a 700MB OS was not a 160MiB OS (note use of base convention carefully in this sentence). I have since added the :P to the end of that post because I was trying to poke a little bit of humorous sarcasm your way, which seems to have been less than effective at its originally intended task. I should have 'd it originally
All that said, we both need to go chill the frak out. You never know how long we might go before we agree on something again. Although I think that's twice this year now.

Hiro, as we agree on all of this, why do you keep up with this silly stuff? I'm not trying to stir anything up. All I said was that I felt the math didn't matter in all this, and that 700 MB was the number I read.
You guys have any idea how I can get the last 5 minutes of my life back, that I wasted reading your posts?
Gee, we're sorry that this has been the only time that you didn't read something written in a thread somewhere that wasn't laser-like, aimed at your specific interest.
Some of us know each other for years now, and we like to kid each other. If you stick around, perhaps you can also make friends.

<Hiro, [head shake]>
I give up.
<Hiro, [self walks_away]>

So do I.
