I believe that besides some information on Snow Leopard to get developers moving in that direction most of the Keynote will be iPhone centric. OS X iPhone, AppStore, OS X upgrades to handle iPhone 2.0 and maybe new tie ins with .Mac to make it more attractive.
I remember when the above 450MHz G4 was for sure. FOR 3 YEARS.
Although I don't think anything is "for sure", I do think your guess is at lest reasonably minded.
I have a queston...When did it begin to circulate that Safari wold be significantly updated at WWDC? Considering it's a "consensus", this is the first I've heard of it.
There is a security flaw in the latest version of Safari for Windows. It has to be updated, or no one will risk using it.

So what does that have to do with WWDC? You really think Steve is going to take his precious time to unveil a bug fix for Safari? Don't think so. The patch will come out when it's ready. If that happens to be on Monday, great... but I really don't think it's exactly something that you can count on showing up in the keynote.
A mention of Safari during Steve's time on stage would be for a major new release... and there hasn't been anything in the vapors about that.

Okay, Ladies & Gentlemen, before everyone loses the plot I thought it might be helpful to summarize expectations for Monday based on a consensus of what everyone is saying.
1. 3G iPhone with video calling, GPS and 32 Gb
2. OSX iPhone 2.0
3. .Mac rebranded and repackaged to offer new functionality (possibly called .me)
4. OSX 10.5.4
5. OSX 10.6 preview (possibly called Snow Leopard)
6. New version of Safari for both Windows and OSX
And here is the rumour that just won't go away....
7. OSX for Windows
(Could this be the real reason behind the twin Bay bridges? No, it's about OSX for Mac and iPhone, but you never know)
And one more thing...
8. New MacBook Pro
Will MacBook Touch / Newton 2 device show? Too close to call. I say probably not.
@Tailpipe: You have absolutely no clue as to what will happen. Why do you create these prediction posts when you are always wrong?
Are you trying to restore your credibility?
All that you have stated has been swirling around the internet for some time.
As for the new MBP, it will not happen at WWDC.....will be at a separate event in July/August. Besides....when was he last time Apple had "one more thing?"

7. OSX for Windows
.
The Brilliance of tailpipe never ceases to amaze me. An operating system for an operating system... What will you dream up next? A Mac for PC?
Some things are for sure:
Phone 2.0
OS X iPhone
AppStore
Intro to a few of the new 3rd party iPhone apps
Probable:
10.5 Update at some level for iPhone 2.0
Snow Leopard - and a bit of a chat as to WHY.
.Mac revised
"One More Thing"
What not to bet on:
The xMac

Indeed. Innovation isn't expected. If it were, it wouldn't be innovation. And innovation *certainly* isn't generated by consensus.

Didn't Karl Benz build the first car?

Sorry, I should have said OSX for non-MAc PCs. You get my drift!

Oh, you're drifting, alright.
Did you have to search hard for a hair that fine to split?
No. Thankfully the hairs grow pretty thick here.
Didn't Karl Benz build the first car?
Yes, but Ford had better PR.
The two bridges are the Mac and the iPhone. Duh!?
More specifically, (if that spy photo of the banners is real) the bridges are OS X and its apps for the Mac and for the iPhone.

The Mac and iPhone platforms.

I don't see why pink runners has anything to do with this?

Exactly. This Safari talk is nonsense.
The Mac and iPhone platforms.
Well... yeah. It is the same thing, I suppose.

He does it because they get lots of replies.
Besides....when was he last time Apple had "one more thing?"
MacBook Air.

Wait...Was that a "one more thing"?
-Checked-
No...No, it wasn't. Damn you Cult of Mac
Yes, but Ford had better PR.
It has nothing to do with PR. It simply has to do with the fact that Ford made autos accessible to average people in two ways:
1) The assembly line therefore mass production therefore lower cost of producing a car.
2) Paying workers decent wages in the hope they would use that extra money to buy luxuries like cars (and it worked).
