Did anyone else think that Steve Jobs looked...perhaps a bit too thin at WWDC presentation? I hope he is okay. I'm sure he's been working way too hard.

You are right he does need to let go of the reigns a bit and start grooming new blood. Difficult for someone like him, who is an iron ruler.
It can't be just anyone though, Apple needs another Medici like figure. Not an emulation of Steve Jobs but someone with taste who could maybe even take Apple in new directions.
Apple should run a second design team to tackle totally off beat design projects that could develop into new iPods and iPhones. There are certainly plenty of products out there that could use the Apple touch.
This could be the training ground for a successor.
