    @ Daniel0418,

I'm not gong to quote your message because I'm guessing you'll be editing it.

    1) What's with the name calling?

    2) I think by 'media store', he actually means a store, like the iTunes Store.

    3) Zune firmware 3.0 will be getting access to MS' Marketplace via WiFi. This differs from Apple's in that even on their small Flash based model you can start playing and downloading audio right away. Of course, you need to be paying $15/month for the unlimited service, but there is certain instant gratification I can see some people liking about it.

My guess is that the mods will be cutting it and Daniel will be taking a break.

The name calling is funny. It makes everything sound just more exciting than it really is. I won't be editing my message. And he didn't mean itunes he meant storage. The sentence would have been the microsoft zune lacks a good media store. Not, "lacks media store". Get it? Though once he reads my message and angrily replys he will definitely point that out. Though it wasn't the case. itunes store isn't that great. I use a torrent. Illegal but gets me everything I want. If there is a band I like that I feel is worthy of my money. I buy their CD in a store. For 13 bucks rather than 9.99 from itunes I receive their album art (front/back/inside booklet/lyrics) as well as a good quality CD I can copy to multiple computers and MP3 players. I am not obligated to use it on a damn ipod or itunes. I do have an iphone. I won't get involved with the monopoly that is itunes.

No, I don't. I have never referred to storage space as a store. The words are obviously related, but I don't see how anyone could mean storage but write store.

You are hilarious. HAHA. "I have never refferred to storage space as (A STORE) you didn't say "A STORE". You only said storage. If you meant store than read what I said in the last message about how gay iTunes is. And I take back what I said about you earlier. BUT.... you didn't mean store you mean't storage. Therefore I don't take it back. Have fun jacking off to the apple logo you homo.

    Daniel.

    P.S. No hard feelings.

You are totally out of order - who do you think you are talking to people like that ?

Go back to your Microsoft forums - intellectually you are more suited to the level of discussions there.

Dude, you were wrong. You totally misunderstood what the guy said and showered abuse at him based on that misunderstanding. You were then rude and abusive to everyone who tried to point out YOUR MISTAKE. Read that again - YOU MADE A MISTAKE. You can call me a homo, insult me or whatever, but you are in the wrong. Now clear off back to whatever Microsoft forum you came from, kay?

Speaking of which, I'm surprised that Microsoft has not seriously considered writing a universal portable media player interface software that works with almost any portable media player except for an iPod. Imagine being able to plug in through the USB port everything from a Creative ZEN Nano Plus to various players from Creative, Samsung, Sandisk and Sony all the way up to the new Zune third-generation models and be able to copy file and manage the files on the player from a single unified program.

Daniel will be taking a brief break from the pressures of posting. If Daniel is unable to converse with human beings in a way that demonstrates a functional knowledge of both logic and English then Daniel will not be joining us in posting for much longer after that.

It has been spoken. So shall it be done.

I find it ironic that I got attacked from politely choosing to not quote his post in my reply so he can edit it so he wouldn't seem like a complete ass.

Why did apple insider leave off something thats huge for libraries ?

they also stated more audiobook support on the zune. I am a network technician and the zune allowing audiobook support now gives me a single easy to use mp3 player that works well on the pc that I can recomend to the patrons who arent computer savy.

IF apple insider is going to point out how microsoft is copying apple what about the new nano baiscally looking like a zune 4 or 8 gig? The zunes even allow you to flip them on their side to watch the movies.

They are both copying each other.

Wow...just for the record, I was referring to, as solipsism correctly noted, the Zune's Marketplace, which is media store. Doesn't it have more than music? I was giving it the benefit of the doubt. I also wasn't saying it had no media store, but that it had "no good, comparable" store.

I also don't get how this somehow became rich vs. poor. Living with my mother for the first few years of college while pulling in an income of around 20k annually, I'm only middle class in my mind. I buy everything with my money from random odd jobs. How are Microsoft's Zunes for the poor while Apple's iPods are for the rich elite when...they're equal in price and the former lacks features and software of the latter!? And Macs often go for less than comparable PCs, yet they last considerably longer.

Just to let you know, Daniel0418, I'm writing this with a big smile.

Don't forget that you are a moron and I'm a homo who jacks off to the Apple logo. I'm guessing that is old, rainbow coloured logo.
