iTouch doesn't launch or open in iTunes?

Which setting)s) have I got to fix?



I can't get my iPod touch to show up anywhere. So now I can't upgrade or install new music?

    Does your Touch start up on its own?



    If so, are you connecting it through a hub? I had a problem where my Touch wouldn't finish a firmware upgrade. The Apple genius said that sometimes a hub can interfere with the iPod Touch connections.

    Turns out, after re-installing iTunes (with the iPod Touch plugged in, and it now it works fine ? go figure.

    I think I have had only one error free Touch update. All the other updates have given me problems of one sort or another. Twice I had to take it to an Apple Store just to get it to start. Looks like your good till the next update.
