I wish Apple would face the fact: A three button mouse is where it is at these days. Maybe things will change down the road with touch screens. But for now, a three button mouse is pretty much mandatory for those who actually do work with their macs.
The Mighty Mouse has 5 buttons. Buttons aren't the issue here. The whole design concept of the MM doesn't work for a prolonged period, ON AVERAGE.

I would agree that the amount of buttons is not the issue here. But how well the buttons work is the issue for me.. Maybe before I should have stated it this way: The industry wide three button mouse design works and is where it is at these days. Instead of a hidden and convoluted mutli-button contraption that gets in the way of getting things done.

Oh I totally agree with that. Having to explain every damn time to that there's hidden buttons under the shell is annoying. AND, despite how many people seem to be hypnotized into denying it for some reason, the middle button gets stuck, like a mother _ _ _ ___ __.
