Deep Green getting deeper
After yesterday's Deep Green article, I received an email from Deep Green's developer, Joachim Bondo, who wanted to share a few things:
Firstly, that yes there is a point to manually setting up the board, and that is for if you want to set the board up in a certain way (to follow a chess game in a newspaper, for instance). For people reading chess literature, this is a must. Shows how much I know.
More importantly though, addressing any concerns over playing with other humans - Mr. Bondo confirms that correspondence or networked multiplayer is "very much planned" for future versions of the app.
This news ought to put iPhone-owning chess players in high hopes for the coming new year.
Thank to Joachim for keeping touch.
