in macOS edited January 2014
In a second upgrade on Thursday evening, Apple has released Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 2.4 (3.8MB).

The patch lets Aperture 2 and iPhoto 08 recognize the RAW image files from Canon's new EOS 5D Mark II and PowerShot G10 cameras as well as the Pentax K2000 (K-m in some countries) and Leica's M8.2 rangefinder.

It also adds support for more recent Leaf digital backs, including the AFi-II 6 and 7 as well as the Aptus-II 6 and 7.

Installing the update requires either Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11 or Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.3.
