I tried both fixing the permissions from the CD (nothing) and then Optimizing the entire Drive with Drive X 1.1.2 (still nothing). Full boot times are taking around 85-90 seconds whereas they used to take 45 or 50. Everything else on the system seems OK once it's loaded, but the long load times piss me off.

It's obviously not a pre-binding issue or an apps issue IMO because the Jaguar installer pre-binds to start with and I haven't been using this system long enough for the bindings to get fowled up. Also I have all the same apps installed as before (actually fewer of them), so nothing new has been introduced other than 10.2.1 itself.

I sent a complaint to Apple. Hopefully they release an update soon that deals with this....

Logout, then in the user field type >console

You will be thrown into a single-user environment, and asked to login. Do so and then type fsck -y

After thats all finished, shutdown should get you back to the login screen. Or maybe logout is the command...Brad?

I'll try it Spart. Thanks for posting. I'll come back and let you guys know what happened.

    >Few Minutes Later<

Didn't do anything. And by that I mean, I typed it and nothing happened really. Just moved to the next prompt. I think I typed it right because I didn't get the "unknown command" message that pops up when you don't type something in correctly....
