Tumblr for iPhone allows easy, portable 'tumblelogging'
Tumblelogs, according to their creators at Tumblr, are the easiest ways to share anything you may come across on the Internet, from photos to texts to quotes to music. Tumblr's service has allowed posting tumblelogs through a variety of devices to date but now includes the iPhone and iPod Touch.
The Tumble mobile app (Free, App Store) is an app especially made for posting anything and everything to a tumblelog, along with checking the Tumblr dashboard. Owners can save drafts of posts, record and post audio directly through the iPhone or iPod touch (with microphone when an option), and control the privacy and behavior of posts.
The app features a clean and relaxed interface with some nice icon design in places, and along with the functionality and free-of-charge, this will no doubt be a gift to existing Tumblr users; however, new users may want to try maintaining a Tumblelog first to see if they enjoy it.
