ngmoco, the publishers behind such titles as Dropship and Rolando, have today released WordFu ($0.99, App Store), a word puzzler with a slight martial arts twist that has players shaking and and frantically manipulating words on their iPhone or iPod Touch.

Players are made to shake about lettered dice before stringing them into as many words as possible within a time limit. Using various touch controls to 'flick' dice, players can use bonuses to stop the timer, double their score, or change letters so as to create more words. The game features online scoreboards as well as a ranking system allowing more passionate players to become "WordFu Grand Masters".

The game utilises MachDice technology, a system specifically made for displaying and simulating the physics of real dice on the iPhone and iPod Touch. With this system, players can tilt the iPhone or iPod Touch to look at the sides of the dice before shaking the device to acquire new letters.

WordFu also boasts a dictionary of over 200,000 words, meaning that the most versed of word game players should find significant replayability in this title.
