iNapkin brings quick idea jotting to iPhone and iPod Touch
Luksor has been in touch to tell us they have just released iNapkin ($2.99, App Store), an application that intends to resolve the problem of never seeming to have a napkin and pen at hand when one is needed.
The application is fairly simple, allowing users to draw directly onto the iPhone or iPod Touch's screen (with real napkin textures) using three different colours for pens, two different sizes of eraser, and zooming and panning thanks to the multi-touch capabilities of the device.
Writing and drawing with a finger offers more accuracy than many might expect, and while the app is not going to be used to make artwork any time soon, it serves the purpose of being able to jot down ideas quite well.
Once users feel a napkin has been completed, they can save and email their concepts/shopping lists/crude drawings to whomever they see fit. The developers stress that iNapkin can be used for many things, including a game of Tic Tac Toe during a meeting.
iNapkin has an introductory price of $2.99 until March 31st.

I'll stick with my free "Colors! Lite" thank you. It's more like a scaled down version of Corel's Painter software.
