ngmoco last week released Topple Too ($2.99, App Store), the sequel to their block stacking game Topple which formed part of their debut onto the App Store, along with Mazefinger.

The formula of Topple Too is the same, but this time with slight variations on the formula. In the original Topple, players had to stack characterised blocks of all shapes and sizes to reach a certain height. As the player progressed through the game, they would be matched by increasingly difficult shapes to build their towers with.

In Topple Too, a whole slew of new game modes have been added - such as an underwater type of tower where you must build downwards instead of upwards, a balancing game where you must build two equally weighted towers, a game mode where you must rescue a golden egg by building a tower to softly descend, and 'power tower', where you must connect powered blocks together and keep a current running through a whole tower.

That's not to mention that this new version of Topple offers Wifi Friend Challenging, alongside a whole new score, and the same art style that offers playful backgrounds and ridiculous expressions courtesy of the blocks you have to manipulate.
