Apple posts iPod shuffle 3G 1.0.1 firmware
Apple on Wednesday night released its 1.0.1 firmware update for the third-generation iPod shuffle, the first such update for the screenless music player since its introduction last week.
The software is primarily a maintenance release and is only said by Apple to include "minor bug fixes."
Like with earlier iPods, updating the shuffle requires connecting it to iTunes and checking for an update; a separate download isn't available.
