That's not much easier. OSEx lets you save a DVD as a single file (or single audio and video files), which is easier.

well, perhaps *easier* is the wrong word...
what i like about visa is a) the ability of visual cropping (rather than guessing values) and b) the fact that it's so fast. (it's optimized for 3ivx and for dual-procs btw) all i do is drag the vobs onto its open-dialoge, adjust the cropping and hit 'start'
you did make me curious, though, so i'm gonna look into osex! (on the other hand, i'm biased towards visa, cuz it's a friend of mine who's working on it -- but maybe i can get him to add some of the missing osex features...)

can't emphasize that enough... however, that's why i use bd4go -> by converting the ac3 into aiff i can then use qt to convert it into aac -> no more audio-problems in qt anymore!
