It "could" be airport extream... keep in my even though the 12" models can use it, they do not come pre-installed. It's possible they needed to implement the build to get the 17" G4 to work right...
hmmm namm is in a week...and their will be a few mlan devices shown there for the first time....I would think apple would want to show how they are able to take advantage of this but last I heard mlan was going into 10.3...I wonder if they'll just put in with this update instead

2) Whenever I connect to a server, AFP or SMB, sooner or later Jaguar hard crashes. Not even a kernel panic, it just freezes. Requires hard restart. Last time it must've screwed up the file system too, it needed to reboot, run fsck, fix something, and reboot. Why oh why is networking so hard? Fortunately I don't need it for my job, just every now and then when I decide to scout a college LAN for warez and music...errr, education material.
I have experianced the same thing, but it will "unfreeze after a period of time. I run a lab of 18 macs on an NT server. AFP locks up, I haven't had any problems with SMB lock up. You have to wait anywhere between 5-20 minutes. Once and awhile I have seen one hang for over an hour. A hard restart is just faster. I havn't tested the lock up on 10.2.3, since I only use SMB now. except when a student finds it by accident.. I have yet to turn it off due to printing concerns.
re: 10.2.4, I have seen other (different) photos of this, I suspect it is real, no fake.

I've had exactly the same problems if I'm ever hooked up to a network drive and then switch networks without unmounting the drives.
Actually, I've had the same problem even if I switch users - this is probably the problem in a lab setting.
I have yet to find a good workaround for this Yes, I can easily unmount the drives myself, but it's a pain to remember and even more of a pain when my wife decides she wants to switch into her account.

Did you by any chance encounter my aunt? She's like late forties and stone crazy, but the nicest person alive. In Laos since a few weeks. So? Have you?

It's the Keynote toolbar you see - not the menu bar.
I just hope they finally get SMB and AFP networking, well working, so I don't get a visit from good ol' Colonel Panic.

Buggy, give escapepod a shot:
http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14756
It'll force-quit or force-logout for ya with a keystroke, so no need for the fsck's
lol, i thought moki had disappeared.

Hey Moki, I was there too, for the last three weeks. I visited Laos and Cambodia. :-D
