I have an iPhone 3G and say that I was forced into AT&T if I wanted the iPhone. Granted, I didn't need an iPhone, but I am a Mac user and have been for years and wanted a phone that worked similar. I love the phone itself and think it is the best phone I have had. The service on the other hand leaves much to be desired. Dropped calls, slow speeds, delayed text messages, numerous call failed messages trying to dial out. This is not what I would expect from a company that Apple is forcing us to deal with if we want to use their product. Again, I understand that I have a choice to use the iPhone or not. I want a choice of service providers! To show that I am not just whining, see the below speedtest.net results I ran earlier today as my internet seemed slow. This is what I get for $30/month. I should mention the signal strenght was full during these test.

I think you must have meant Albuquerque, not Santa Fe. AT&T most definitely does NOT currently have 3G in Santa Fe.
