Uh. Parts of Darwin are APSL. Other parts of it are BSD. Even other parts are... GPL.

XFS would need to be implemented in the kernel. The Darwin kernel license is APSL. Shipping a GPL'ed kext when the kernel is APSLed is probably a GPL violation, but SGI might not care.
