switcher help - login screen & hidden users

Hi,

I am a recent switcher and have something that has been bugging me and hope you can help.



Under User Accounts, you can select either 'Name and Password' or 'List Of Users'. I like to use List of Users, but would like to be able to switch to Name And Password selectively so i can login as hidden (admin) users when i need to.



Is there a quick way to do this? Under windows XP i used Ctrl + Alt + Del to do exactly this switch from graphical to text user login.

    I know that if you enable the Root account (a quick google search should tell you how to do this), there's an "Other User..." option at the bottom of the list of users, clicking that brings up the name/password textboxes.

    tap the down arrow to highlight a listed user, then press alt-return. You'll get the standard dialog box.
