With the recent stories of The Beatles reaching a deal with Apple, it brought me to this thought. It angers me that customers willing to pay for Bealtes music via iTunes can't, yet Target can use their song in a commercial. This kind of selling out drives me nuts. I hate to see good songs tarnished like that.
Back on topic, I'll be picking up The Shins new album next Tuesday.

Has all the early stuff and Debbie is so. damn. sexy.
Lol! Not quite the word I'd use to describe someone who is old enough to be my mother!

Yeah, but I bet she wasn't old enough to be your mother back then!

Anyone into Joanna Newsom?
After a couple listens I'm hooked.
I am madly in love with Joanna Newsom. Best fucking album of last year, in my opinion.
Certainly took a couple of listens, though.

Love Karin Berquist's vocals.
She came to sing in London one year as a back-up singer for Cowboy Junkies. Just so astonishingly
beautiful - vocals and lyrics superlative beyond words.
Gomez- How We Operate (Great track IMO)
Corrine Bailey Rae- Enchantmen (OMG this is delicious)
KT Tunstall- Heal Over
Azam Ali- Endless Reverie (Nice, she's from Iran emigrated to US in 1985)
plus a lot of moby, old school techno (think "Hackers" era), Carmina Burana (the Herbert Blomstedt/San Francisco Symphony Orchestra recording)
It has some remarkable tracks but not their best album to date.
Fun song yet another find from IMF. Does anyone else have this channel? Much better than MTV, I mean they actually show videos!
This song could warm you up on a cold night.
