Hi,

I have my itunes for my nano and it currently works from the c drive, but the thing is this computer is 4-5 yrs old and likely to spontaneously combust at any moment.

What I want to do is move my itunes across to my external hard drive, but do so without losing all my songs, my itunes set-up or the play count for them.

Is there a way to do this?

Sure. Put your iTunes music folder where ever you want.

Then, in iTunes->Preferences->Advanced, under the "general" tab there is a "change" button that allows you to browse to the folder's new location.

    And that's it.
