What the heck is wrong with ufs that keeps games from playing on it? even shockwave games? This is so annoying! Can someone tell me why it doesn't work?
Probably has something to do with the fact that HFS+ is not case sensitive, and that UFS is. The links to other files within a package may not have the right 'case' for the letters, thus causing the application to not launch. Since most people use and develop on HFS+ and leave UFS to servers, they're being sort of careless when it comes to case sensitivity.
A lot of people with a lot of experience with linux and other *nix based operating systems are just really used to, and enjoy, the fact that case sensitivity matters. I sort of which HFS+ supported this...

That's my best guess...

In all seriousness I must ask: what were you thinking?
