Parallels won't let me drag from Finder to Windows Explorer

I have Parallels installed on two MBP's. One of them which I set up first I can easily drag files from the Mac Desktop or a OS X Window to Windows Explorer. The problem is the 2nd installation won't allow me to do this and I can't find any difference between the two. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I also see a option where I can set up a shared folder for Parallels and I choose a directory but then never see that directory listed. It seems this would be another way for me to share files between the two OS's but not as easy for me as the first. I rarely have files I use on both, just once in awhile I have some I want to copy between the two OS's.

If you're using Parallels 3.0, join the crowd. It's buggy as shit. I can't even get my mouse to drag seamlessly between Parallels and Mac OS X. I have to use a release key combination, regardless of any settings. It's ridiculous.
