AppleCare reflecting online?

So I recently bought a MacBook. I bought AppleCare from another source. I registered it online and when I login to my support account on Apple.com I see the agreement listed there. However, when I search for my serial number it still has my support expiring a year from purchase. I just registered it a few days ago. Should I be concerned?

    I've always bought mine from another vendor. I think that it took a week or longer to get a response from Apple, and that was in the form of a letter.
