1 TB external hard drives or stick with the 500 GB external hard drives?

Any comments about the 1 tb external hard drives by LaCie or Western Digital MyBook? What about the \t

LaCie 500 GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, Design by F.A. Porsche?

    Get the iomega Ultramax 1TB and RAID 1 it for extra peace of mind.

    Mines been working fine since Leopard came out. I would like to have Redundancy and as soon as Apple gets their AEBS backup over network fixed, I should have it. SuperDuper! on the local 1TB and 1TB on the AEBS.
