App for calling from a Mac to a Phone

Is there a free app to call a regular phone from a Mac? Mac2Phone costs money, so does Dialpad, and the others like Haxial NetFone only work between computers. Thanks anyone for your input, I'm just looking for a way to call home from college. My phone card ran out!

    And yes I tried Versiontracker. All thoses apps charge to call from a Mac to a telephone.
