It unusual for it to go down over 2 hours in advance of a keynote though.
Perhaps, in an effort to prevent leaks, the Apple Store people are only just being given all the info on the new machines? Would 3.5 hours (2 hours before keynote + 1.5 hour keynote) be long enough to get everything sorted?
usually it take another 30 mins to come up so it is almost 4 hours down???
what is coming up? steve?
Perhaps they started early so they can avoid that extra 30 minutes this round. Sounds like there should be a good round of refreshes and introductions, though, if it's down already.

I could see this happening, as updated images getting onto the store ahead of time has caused leaks of Mac Pro specs at least one time in the past. Although I do have to ask, who is it browsing the Apple store 24/7 catching these graphic image leaks?

Tough crowd, but yet, humorous.... I blame the typo on the crappy Dell I am on at work.
And I can't re-sign up, duplicate email address... I can't find the admin either to make the change...

I think this is an award winning venture. You're on something, really.
Thanks.

I was thinking more of Apple Store staff leaking the info to rumour sites if they'd be given the pictures and specs yesterday, for example.
Anyway, those PowerMac G5 specs were spotted, and they weren't up for that long...
