recover lost data in tiger

i recently did a erase and install with tiger on my powerbook g4 1.25
because of kernel panic problems and i forgot to back up some important pictures..
does anyone know of a way to recover them either through a program or a method someone has successfully used.

You can try it first, if it finds your files, you can buy the key to unlock it. I would suggest if you do that, get the bundle they have with Drive Genius as well.

No, there's not any "free" ones either. These apps are worth weight in gold.
