Different Views in Mail

Is there a way to change the default view in Mail. I'm looking to set it up in a column view. Kind of like *caugh* outllook. I know you can change the view in finder to column or coverflow. I didn't see any option in mail. If not do you think it's in the works?

There was a plugin made for the Tiger Mail.app by someone on the Arstechnica forums:

Edit: The latest version also works with Leopard Mail:

Sweet thanks!!! It was the only thing i preferred in windows. Probably because it's how my email is setup at work and i seem to get through emails faster with the column layout. It's also the last complaint a friend of mine had who i pretty much have talked into making the switch
