Mail: Emptying autocompletion cache of email addresses

Why hello there!

As far as I can tell, Mail autocompletes email addresses not only according to the contents of your Address Book, but also according to the history of addresses to which you've sent mail.

The problem arises when person A, whom I have emailed frequently in the past and whose address already exists in my Address Book, changes his email address.

Now, however, when I email that person, autocomplete completes the wrong address (I always choose the primary selection without looking first) given that I had already emailed that person so many times to his old address.

Is there a way to clear this cache?

That has to be one of the most beautiful and elegant responses ever!

Thanks for taking the time to produce that image and provide that solution.

Or at the very least to paste it if it is not yours

    Hey Saud,

That seems like a different issue. You may wish to start another thread with an appropriate subject heading.

Also, if possible, you should provide as many details as you can about the problem. Although it does seem as if there's not much to say in your particular case
