Apple Newbie With Safari Question
This past April, after using windows for 11 years, I decided to try a mac.
I'll admit to being a bit overwhelmed at first, but I stuck with it and I'm now very
happy I made the change.
I play fantasy football on yahoo. Last year I wanted to document the entire season.
IE: Draft results, weekly matchups, etc.
I wanted to copy & paste the individual pages & put them in folders.
When I tried this with explorer it didn't work.
Later on I tried a different web browser & I was able to save the individual
pages exactly. I forgot the name of that browser
So my question is simple. Is there anyway to save pages exactly as they appear
using safari ?
Thanks in advance !!(

Saving them as webarchives will store them as they are shown online - this is the default save format. If you want certain parts, you can often just drag over a portion of a web page, copy and open Textedit and paste into an rtf document. Sometimes it loses the formatting but it's usually ok.
However, the files that that saves can only be opened by Safari itself I believe.
Camino and Firefox will save it as an html page, but I'm not sure that always works well.
2 more options:
How does that snap long pages though? I believe that's what he's asking.
I'm still not able to copy the pages exactly, but I do
appreciate all your suggestions.
For now, I'm just going to save the pages as archives
& hopefully find a solution later.
Thanks Again
