G5 iMAC Freeze
I have a MAC OS X 10.4.11
1.8 PPC G5, 1GB DDR
My computer keeps freezing up. I also on occasion on start up get a strange running pattern across a gray screen. Mac Help says to reboot from the install disc and let disc utility work. Sadly my disc was destroyed, however a friend has an install disc for G4 power book. Will that work?
