I have a 2 Ghz intel core 2 Duo Macbook. My question is can I install Leopard on it? I've tried to insert the installation disk and install it but I get a pop up box that reads unable to install on this machine. Is there anyway around this? Thanks for any help!

Do you have a Leopard installer that came from another type of Mac?

For example, a Leopard disc bundled with an iMac won't install on a Macbook.

I think the Leopard installers are universal too so I don't think the PPC/Intel thing would make a difference.

It sounds to me like you are trying to use the System Restore disc from another computer to install the OS on your old MacBook. You can't do that. You must use a retail copy of Leopard to upgrade your computer to Leopard.
