Need help comparing macbook to powerbook

Hi, i currently have a 17" Powerbook g4 1.5 power pc with 1.5 gb ram and i was wondering if it would be worth buying a new 13inch black MacBook 2.0 ghz?



Would it be stronger then my current powerbook? would it be worth it?



or is my old Powerbook still more powerfull then the new regular macbooks?

    Processor-wise, your old Powerbook's G4 doesn't even come close to being as powerful as a 2GHz Core 2 Duo. I'd guess the Macbook is three or four times more powerful.

    Would it be fast enough to run final cut pro?

    It would be but you would lose screen real-estate unless you have an extra monitor.
