I've got an OXS Leopard. I'm trying to download live tv. Please does anyone know what free software I need to install and if there's an easy tutorial to help me get started.

Since your Mac doesn't have a TV tuner, how are you planning on getting the signal into it?
If you're planning on using the web instead, then you don't need any software but a browser, right?
Try
http://www.elgato.com/
for HW/SW solutions for what you want to do. Certainly not free, but hardware rarely ever is.

By definition, "live tv" can't be "downloaded". I suppose it could be streamed via tcp/ip, but that will just confuse the issue.
Like kickaha says, you need additional hardware and software. I too recommend EyeTV products from Elgato.
