3D geo apps

Hey all.



I'm looking for a decent (and hopefully not too expensive) app to create 3D scenes to cover geography vocabulary as well as to just help create background images for some of my animations.



Downloaded and am playing around with Vue 7 Complete, which seems pretty good. Just wish to look around a little before plunking out the cash.

    It has an offer on that ends today. That doesn't give much testing time before it goes up $100. I would say Vue will probably have more pre-made content but Terragen is significantly cheaper and if it's for you generating scenes, it should do the job just fine. Some pretty nice photoreal work has been done using it.

    Had a good two-hour run with Terragen. Perhaps the end result is nicer, but the process is more technical, for me at least.
