Why iTunes won't transfer my mp3 files?

About 2 months ago I updated my iTunes to the latest version, 8.1. Well after that ALL my mp3 files won't show up in iTunes. Before this update there was something I had to check to get iTunes to "see" the files, but I swear I can't remember what. Now I've updated to 8.2 and still have the same problem. Help, I have at least 900 mp3 files I can't enjoy on my iTouch!

    That's odd. Maybe there was a bug? Did you ask iTunes to reindex your computer? That might fix it.

    I thought of something, maybe you can try to do a repair permissions, though I don't know if that would fix it. It shouldn't hurt anything.

    Could be a bug.. did you try downloading 8.2.1 and see what happens?
