Flash would kill the battery and iPhone has a YouTube app. I would have said you were right when the iPhone came out, but after owning two of them I now see this argument as dead-wrong. YouTube has become the internet standard, and on the web wherever there is a YouTube video the iPhone OS can play it. Around 1/3 of the internet use YouTube everyday, we don't need no stinking Flash.

Flash cookies are therefore being created and therefore the tracking happens.

None of that changes the fact that flash isn't going to disappear before competing manufacturers make phones that will do everything the iPhone does WITH flash, my only point here is that consumers WILL care and they will show it with their purchases.

Under Windows XP or Win7 on exactly the same hardware, using the same Browser (Firefox) CPU use is around half the OS X use. I think the descrepancy is far more noticable on a Laptop when the fans kick in and the battery life plummets as soon as Flash does anything - especially when you have Windows as a reference.
Apple don't give crap - that's why why just got MMS. Get with the program.
They added MMS to shut up the likes of you who complain every bloody feature that device X has that iPhone doesn't have, despite the iPhone having another 40+ features that device X lacks and if device X does have the feature the iPhone generally does it better anyway.

- 90+% CPU Utilization
- Third-party Flash-cookies
- Annoying noisy ads (such as that friggin' mosquito one)
- Flash ONLY websites/web pages
