Does anyone know how many books are currently available on Ibooks versus how many are available on Amazon's Kindle store??

If i remember correctly the iBook catalog is roughly 30,000 and the Kindle is over 300,000. Keep in mind you can download the Kindle, and soon the Barnes & Noble, app. Which gives you access to those catalogs directly from the iPad.

Man , I guess if I invest in an Ipad then ill be forced to use the Kindle store for most non-mainstream titles.

    Hey guys,

I thought I'd give some feedback of this site, myPadMedia which I joined a couple of days ago for my new iPad. Since joining, I've been able to downloads the entire Harry Potter series, all the Twilight novels, a couple David Balducci books, and the comic book version of the movie 'Kick-Ass'.

There is a massive library and the downloads are fairly fast.
