Are there any websites that you can easily make laptop comparisons? I wanted to compare speed
tests between my current laptop (17" 1.67GHz Powerbook) with the current top of the line 2.66GHz
Macbook Pro.

Benchmark tests get published irregularly by the media.
The most recent article Google spit up is from last February, from our own Katie Marsall
, about the spectacular forthcoming i7 MBP.

Geekbench is a good test for raw performance:
17" 1.67GHz G4 Powerbook = 956

2.66GHz i7 Macbook Pro = 6421

Well over 6 times faster.
