Least evil search engine
So I'm interested given the continuing dominance of Google which search engine you would suggest using and which is least invasive about following one's browsing history and past search results. Are they all as guilty of this these days or does Google remain the most creepy in terms of collating your information and what it does with it?

When you reminisce about some vacation, you don't just have a jumble of disconnected thoughts in your head, they are linked together and all those links come from your experience. Someone else may have taken a very similar vacation but will have a different experience and set of connections that were important to them so when they think back, they will have a different perspective. If they asked you to help them remember something, it may not mean anything to them so your search engine isn't efficient for them. It needs to be personalised for their experience.
People get way too uptight about privacy of this nature. What's the worst that can really happen? You're going to see advertising that actually interests you. You're going to get search results that are closer to what you are looking for. Aaaaargh, get the tinfoil and head for the hills, no one is safe.
