I just wanted to know if there is a way to speed up the syncing process in itunes? I have a large library of music to put up my iPhone, few hundred songs. Want to do it all at once instead of a little at a time. Thanks for the help. John
Otherwise, no. Just let it sit there and copy. USB sucks.
Unfortunately, the limiting factor here is not the interface speed, it's how fast you can write to the iDevice's solid-state memory. Thunderbolt won't help the synching process go any faster.

Just another reason we need those new NAND chips from Samsung. Now that we have a protocol that can carry data faster, we have incentive for chips to read/write faster.

What? 10Gbps to iDevices. It's going to happen.

Thunderbolt. Eventually.
